ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
This is the Academy's annual conference built around collaborative workshop for scholarship across food and agriculture law and policy. We welcome participants with early-stage ideas, later-stage papers, and those who simply want to enjoy the community as discussants.
IMPORTANT DATES & REGISTRATION
Abstract submissions are due Friday, September 11, 2026. Registration is $200 through October 15 and $250 beginning October 16.
PROPOSALS & PARTICIPATION
Scholars may submit early-stage ideas or later-stage papers, or volunteer as moderators or discussants. If you want to workshop a paper or idea, please use the proposal form above by September 11, 2026.
FEE WAIVERS & TRAVEL ASSISTANCE
Participants may request a fee waiver or travel assistance using the assistance form above.
SCHEDULE AT A GLANCE
Thursday 6pm: Dinner, reception, and fireside chat (location TBD)
Friday: 8am - 5pm at The George Washington University Law School
LOCATION & LODGING
The conference will be held at The George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. Attendees may stay at any hotel they prefer; the Academy has not reserved a room block. GW maintains a list of nearby hotel options. For those who would like to congregate around one convenient option, we recommend the Marriott Washington Georgetown, which is convenient to the Law School.
