Food Law and Policy is one of the fastest growing legal fields, with a rapidly increasing number of law review articles, conferences, courses, and clinical programs focused on the field’s cases and controversies.
In response to this explosive growth, the Academy of Food Law and Policy is hosting its second annual conference at Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. This annual conference is designed to create and continue a foundation for the long-term stability of the field. This conference will: (1) feature works-in-progress workshops and poster presentations to connect the Food Law and Policy scholarly community; (2) provide meaningful and in depth explorations of food law in multiple formats; (3) foster a dynamic and robust discussion through plenary sessions; and (4) contemplate the possibility of a symposium issue potentially to be pitched the Journal of Legal Medicine.
Registration: $150 for members and $200 for non-members. Registration includes conference participation and breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the conference. Register here by November 25, 2019.
